Saltus Grammar School invites applications for the following posts to commence September 1, 2010.

SECONDARY DEPARTMENT
(Middle School Year 1 – Saltus Graduate Years, ages 10-18)

1. Teachers of English
2. Teachers of Geography

Candidates for Posts #1 and #2 must be qualified, graduate, experienced teachers and have knowledge of an international curriculum.  Experience in the delivery of their respective subjects in a differentiated classroom at all levels of the Secondary Department is required.  Applicants will be required to deliver their subject to the GCSE (United Kingdom) and the Advancement Placement (North American) examination levels.  Proven ability in the use of information technology in the delivery of the curriculum is also required.  All staff are supplied with a laptop.  Classrooms and teaching laboratories are equipped with interactive whiteboard, wireless Internet and wireless printing facilities.  The successful applicant must have a commitment to the principles of independent education and be willing to contribute to extracurricular activities in the broader life of the School.
