Graduate Civil Engineer

Duties include:  Structural engineering design of buildings (commercial and residential), civil infrastructure and marine structures.  Full knowledge of foundation design, one way and two way slab design, wall design (concrete and masonry), beam design (concrete and steel), column design (concrete and steel), composite beam design, retaining wall design, draft structural details, contract/job administration, client and consultant meetings.  Construction supervision and quality control work will also be required.

Qualifications to include:  Recognized bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Required Computer Skills:  Revit Structure 2011, AutoCAD 2011, CSC Tedds, Computer and Structures Safe v12, Computer and Structures Etabse v9.7, Softek Structural Office v9.  Microsoft Project, Word and Excel

Experience:  At least 3 years of post graduate work experience required

All applicants will be required to sit a computer/written examination during their interview to assess structural computing, drafting and design skills along with basic civil engineering.

Applicants may be required to work on weekends and public holidays as work dictates.

Remuneration will be based upon experience and commensurate with industry standards.
