The English Sports Shop Group has a vacancy for a qualified accountant to work with the Controller in the running of the Accounting function.

Responsibilities will include:
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Management of Accounts Receivable and Payables
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of systems and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of buying budgets
• Troubleshoot accounting and computer issues as required

Required Qualifications and Skills:
• A recognized accountancy qualification (CA, CPA, CMA, CGA)
• Excellent computer skills—proficiency in Office and Windows operating system essential
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail

This position offers the opportunity to be closely involved in the Accounting and IT functions of an established multi-store retail business.
