John Barritt and Son Ltd. is seeking to employ a mature, reliable and qualified HVAC technician with electronic experience.

The successful candidate must be an experienced, trustworthy, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills.

As this job requires lifting it is essential that candidates are in good physical condition.  Applicant must also possess a valid intermediate van driving license.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Maintaining all refrigeration equipment owned by John Barritt and Son Ltd., both at the plant and in the field (this includes coolers, vending machines, ice machines, freezers and slush machines).

Providing service to our customers who have purchased refrigeration equipment from John Barritt and Son Ltd.  Troubleshooting and analytical skills are essential.

You must be available for “on call” duties [after hours and weekend service] most weeks of the year and will receive extra compensation for this.

As part of the Equipment Service Team the successful applicant will need to assist with equipment deliveries, soda fountain cleaning and sanitizing other duties in our busy soft drink vending and dispensing operation.

We currently service equipment supplied by the following manufacturers:
True, Beverage Air, Manitowoc, Taylor, Dixie-Narco, U-select, Universal Nolin, Federal Industries, Island Oasis, Sara Less and Cornelius.
