Quantity Surveyor

The successful candidate must have a recognized qualification in Quantity Surveying and should possess the following specific skills:

A thorough understanding of the development process from the developer’s perspective;
Experienced in cost planning and management from feasibility stage to completion of the project;
A well developed understanding of construction techniques;
Ability to identify and value elements of construction missed from the design when preparing estimates;
Experienced in drafting design consultant and contractor contracts;
Ability to review and comment on drawings and specifications;
Thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems;
Skilled in use of relevant business software (including Autocad);
Clear verbal and written reporting skills;

This position involves quantity surveying and some project management/site observation.

Applicants for this position should have at least three (3) years relevant experience and be able to work with minimal supervision.
