The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the Company’s data processing department.

Including a profound understanding of networking protocols and methodologies, System administration of Macs, PCs, PC servers, Unix servers, Software development from Unix scripting levels, Informix r4gl, to IBM RBDe and Database administration, excellent troubleshooting techniques.

A comprehensive knowledge of Unix Operating systems (AIX 4.33 to 5.33), Sun OS, Informix 4GL, Informix SQL, Informix Database management (IDS 10), IBM Rapid Developer Tool (RBDe), Cisco 3560 Routing/Switching, Avaya VoIP PBX system, Proven Hardware technical know how and Printer support.

Familiarity with Tecsys 4gl accounting software, Macintosh Computers, Graphics applications, Windows 2000, XP, Windows 2003 Enterprise, Windows 2008 Enterprise, Terminal services/Thin Client, ISS 45 POS systems platform, Crystal reporting, Great Plains application support, SQL server 2005 administration would be definite assets and advantages.

The candidate will also be responsible for the planning, staging and implementation of new IT purchases and would make recommendations based on new and updated industry standards and methodologies.  The successful candidate must also be an effective communicator in dealing with multiple vendors and a wide array of internal customer support group.
